Less Waste Life: Popcorn

Trying to swap out homemade snacks for stuff we would usually buy where we can – popcorn is a super good thrifty and low waste alternative to crisps.

Popping corn costs us £1.23 for a whole kilo from our local wholesaler which lasts for ages, as just half a cup of corns and a spoon of coconut oil makes a big pan full – packed the girls off to forest school with a tub each, we ate a tonne from the pan and I’ve still got half a big jar left to munch on later 👌

We usually jazz it up with a good sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar 😍 or just plain old salt if we are fancying something savoury. What are your favourite things to have around to snack on?
