
Creamy dreamy chocolate hazelnut spread, who could resist homemade vegan nutella?
Gorgeous spread on toast, layered up in desserts or with sliced banana and vegan pancakes – I can even eat this straight from the jar with spoon! With only 4 ingredients this recipe is super easy to make, it has no refined sugar or yucky stuff and is packed with goodness from the hazelnuts and raw cacao!

Ingredients
2 cups of hazelnuts
Half a cup of water
Half a cup of maple syrup
4 teaspoons raw cacao powder
Method
1) Pop the hazelnuts on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes at 180*C.
2) Allow them to cool and add to a food processor. Process for about 5 minutes, or longer until the hazelnuts have completely broken down and turned into a buttery consistency.
3) Add the water, maple syrup and cacao and blend well, until smooth.
