I’m not blogging personal updates here at the moment. We’ve started a really exciting adventure in setting up our organic vegetable farm, Happy Roots Farm, so I’ll soon be blogging occasional progress and updates on a new farm website, but you can follow me on instagram here http://www.instagram.com/laurenneh and the farm here http://www.instagram.com/happyrootsfarmuk if you want to see what we are up to 🙂
I’ve left all my old recipes online for those who use them, and I use this site as my own recipe collection, so I’m sure I’ll keep adding to it when things settle down a little for us.
Lots of love,
L x
First time mum & just what i have been hoping to find!
Eager to find more vegan healthy recipes
Yay, thanks for commenting 🙂 Hope you enjoy reading! L x
Hi Laurenne, I recently came across your blog and have loved having a browse. We have 2 children (so far) ages 2 and 6 months and we will be home educating also. We are not vegan but I so admire those who are and am currently taking steps to cut back on the amount of meat and processed foods we eat. We love growing our own food too! X
Hi Laurenne,
I stumbled across your old blog whilst looking for some lunch inspiration for my toddler (former prem and both dairy and egg-allergic, not easy!). I then read about your lifestyle change and clicked onto here. Just want to say I think it’s an amazing thing to do, I’ve thought about the idea of a smallholding and about living a more authentic way of life very often but in my case it remains a dream and probably always will as my other half and I are definitely not on the same page over it! He has his own business and when we’ve spoken about it the idea is dismissed as pie in the sky so it’s WONDERFUL to hear about people like you who are living out their dream 🙂 what a fantastic way to bring your kids up, knowing it’s possible to break away from the mainstream and follow their hearts and dreams. I’m very jealous and will follow your journey with interest!
Thanks for taking time to comment Amanda, lovely to hear from you! You never know, you might convert your other half one day – we started with an allotment and it gave us both the bug! Take care and hopefully speak again, L x
